Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced after the 6th session of the Armenia-EU Partnership Council that the Council had adopted a new strategy for EU-Armenia cooperation.
“And we have raised our cooperation to a strategic level, and this is not the end of our ambitions,” he said. According to Mirzoyan, “The Armenian parliament adopted a law on EU membership in March. The message of today’s meeting is essential. Armenia-EU cooperation is entering a new stage.
The first Armenia-EU summit will be held in May 2026. This will also be an essential event.”
