On November 28, RA Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Armenia, Amal Afifi.
Minister Papikyan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming his mission in Armenia and wished him success.
During the meeting, issues related to prospects for defense-sector cooperation between Armenia and Egypt were discussed.
The parties also touched upon several issues related to regional and international security.
