In both Armenia and Azerbaijan, the relevant bodies were involved in ensuring security. This was stated by Areg Kochinyan, President of the Security Policy Research Center NGO, referring to the visit of representatives of Armenian civil society to Baku and security concerns.
He also noted that the Azerbaijani colleagues felt safe in Yerevan, and the same was true for them in Baku.
“The visits will continue,” Kochinyan emphasized.
He also conveyed the messages of Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, to the Armenian society.
According to Hajiyev, the war is over; the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is over for them. They want to build peace from this non-war situation and move towards comprehensive, long-term peace with Armenia. Azerbaijan has no territorial claims against Armenia.
