Naira Sultanyan, a representative of Armenian civil society, announced at a press conference today that the issue of prisoners of war was raised during her visit to Baku.
“We raised the issue of prisoners of war even during the Azerbaijanis’ visit to Armenia. We also raised it with Mr. Hajiyev, and neither the Armenian nor the Azerbaijani side imposed any restrictions on raising the issue.
The Armenian authorities assured that continuous efforts are being made, and Hajiyev also assured that negotiations are underway,” she said.
She noted with regret that they have not received specific answers about the names and people.
