Kazakhstan may open a new trade route to Turkey via Armenia, Kazakh Economy Minister Serik Zhumangarin said.
Serik Zhumangarin said the route would provide direct access to Turkish ports.
“We are currently transiting through Azerbaijan to Georgia’s Black Sea ports. The new route will allow access to Nakhichevan, and then directly to Turkey, its seaports,” Zhumangarin said.
