The meeting of the Prime Ministers of Armenia and Kazakhstan, Nikol Pashinyan and Olzhas Bektenov, took place in Astana.
The latter welcomed the official visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia and noted that it is of great importance for the further development of relations between the two countries. Olzhas Bektenov expressed confidence that, following fruitful negotiations between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Kazakhstan, the Government headed by him will make every effort to implement the agreements reached successfully. Olzhas Bektenov congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on receiving the highest award of Kazakhstan and added that this underscores Armenia's reliability as a partner to Kazakhstan.
Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the congratulations and noted that it was a great honor for him to be awarded Kazakhstan's highest honor. The Prime Minister emphasized the strong partnership established with Olzhas Bektenov personally and thanked him for his contributions to deepening economic ties between the two countries. Nikol Pashinyan noted the great potential for trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan and expressed hope that new transport opportunities will give this cooperation a new impetus.
The interlocutors then discussed several issues related to the development of relations in various fields and the bilateral agenda.
