Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held talks in an expanded format.

The Kazakh people treat the Armenian people, their ancient history, rich culture, and traditions with special respect. Your country has become one of the most popular tourist destinations for Kazakhs. Significant events have taken place this year that have contributed to the rapprochement of our countries," Tokayev said.

According to the President, an open and trusting political dialogue has been established between Astana and Yerevan at all levels. Close, practical cooperation has been established within the framework of regional and international structures.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that bilateral trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and scientific-educational contacts are consistently developing.

The Head of the Republic reported that a historic document will be signed today, raising cooperation between Kazakhstan and Armenia to the level of a strategic partnership.
