Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Minister of Economy, Serik Zhumangarin, spoke about Kazakhstan's trade relations with Armenia.
"The trade turnover is actually small - 82 million dollars. At one time, the trade turnover was higher. This was because cars were coming to us from Armenia. It was prevalent. It was a temporary measure, because our own car production is developing very actively," the minister explained.
At the same time, Kazakhstan offered Armenia goods worth 348 million dollars for export.
Yesterday, we agreed that a group of Armenian businessmen will arrive in Kazakhstan. I will meet with them, and we will discuss opening joint ventures. It would be helpful for us if Armenia could supply fruits and vegetables to our western regions," Zhumangarin added.
