Exchanged views with an EU official on regional issues

RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Magdalena Grono, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the agenda of the RA-EU partnership. He emphasized that the critical achievements recorded in various directions to date reflect the dynamics, depth, and substantive richness of the partnership's development. They touched upon upcoming programs and the work being done to supplement the partnership agenda with new initiatives, including the ongoing strengthening of the RA's resilience.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Magdalena Grono exchanged views on regional issues. In the context of expanding the transport and economic connectivity network, the comparability of the EU's "Global Gateway" and the RA's "Crossroads of Peace" programs was emphasized, and the steps taken to implement them were discussed.

During the meeting, thoughts were exchanged on maximizing the opportunities created by the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, signed on August 8, and efforts aimed at further strengthening peace.
