On November 17, Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan received the US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the peace established in the South Caucasus, assessing it as a historic achievement. The Secretary of the National Security Council emphasized the importance of institutionalizing the peace process and highlighted the efforts being made to unblock regional channels. In this context, the parties discussed the “Trump Way for International Peace and Prosperity” communication program and the steps taken within its framework.
Armen Grigoryan and Allison Hooker also emphasized the importance of the three memoranda of understanding signed between the Republic of Armenia and the United States on August 8, outlining possible directions for further cooperation. Within the framework of expanding bilateral partnership, the Secretary of the National Security Council highlighted the need to develop trade and economic relations and establish direct flights.
