Progress toward implementing the Washington agreements was noted

RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the development of the RA-US strategic partnership. Both sides emphasized the readiness to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including energy, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and investment promotion.

“I can note with satisfaction the active dynamics of the political dialogue aimed at expanding the RA-US bilateral agenda, enriching the strategic partnership with new content and concrete initiatives, as well as the continued involvement of the US in the consistent strengthening of the established peace,” noted Minister Mirzoyan.

Reference was made to the work being carried out to implement the agreements reached in Washington on August 8. Taking into account the symbolic 100th day of the Washington Peace Summit, Ararat Mirzoyan and Alison Hooker noted the progress made during this period in implementing the agreements, as well as the work to be done. They exchanged views on the preparatory work necessary for the construction of the “Trump Road for International Peace and Prosperity” project.

The importance of the latter in developing a network of transport and communication routes with a broader geographical scope was emphasized.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Alison Hooker exchanged views on other regional topics.
