Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Armenia has expressed its readiness to ensure the transit of trucks from Turkey via Margara and Kornidzor to Azerbaijan and vice versa, effective today.
“We are proposing this because it is ready today,” he said.
According to Nikol Pashinyan, “an Armenia-US jointly founded company will be created for TRIPP, where Armenia will have the right to vote on issues of strategic importance.”
He noted that TRIPP is an economic program. “People usually invest that amount plus a certain logical percentage to get a profit.” According to the Prime Minister, “The peculiarity is that after the expiration of the construction right, the property on the land becomes the property of the Republic of Armenia. And the land is always the property of the Republic of Armenia.”
He emphasized that two scenarios for land lease are currently being discussed: a 99-year and a 49-year scenario.
