The importance of the declaration on the establishment of the Armenia-Georgia strategic partnership was emphasized

On November 14, in Tbilisi, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papaushvili. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Giorgi Volski, Head of the Armenia-Georgia Friendship Group on the Georgian side; Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee; and members of the friendship group.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to developing a bilateral partnership between Armenia and Georgia, also touching upon existing initiatives between the legislative bodies in that direction. Both sides emphasized the importance of continuously strengthening inter-parliamentary ties for the benefit of friendship between the two peoples and the promotion of agendas of common interest.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Shalva Papaushvili emphasized the importance of the Declaration on the Establishment of the Armenia-Georgia Strategic Partnership, both as an expression of existing cooperation and as a crucial basis for achieving further practical results.

Referring to the results of the trilateral meeting held in Washington in August 2025, Ararat Mirzoyan expressed confidence that the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, along with the complete unblocking of transport communications, will contribute to transforming the region into an effective transit and logistics hub.
