On November 14, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan had a telephone conversation with the Secretary General of the Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighborhood Policy of the European Commission, Gert Jan Koopman.
During the phone call, the interlocutors discussed the unblocking of regional channels. They emphasized the need to expand economic and transportation routes between the European Union, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia. In the context of the above, the “Crossroads of Peace” project, presented by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, was highlighted, and the prospects for deepening Armenia-European Union cooperation within its framework were discussed.
