Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan touched upon the construction of the TRIPP route.
“Regarding the Trump route, the roadmap is as follows: by the end of the year, we should describe all the details on paper, we should agree in the first half of 2026, and we should start construction work in the second half,” he said. According to the Prime Minister, the Armenian side will do everything to ensure that the schedule works clearly. “But the plans have some deviations,” he said, adding that this is the general perception.
“The railway will pass along the route of the railway that existed during the Soviet era, because it is unrealistic to build a railway elsewhere. The gas pipeline will pass significantly north of it. The power lines will also pass significantly north,” he said.
