Sargis Khandanyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly, spoke about the peace treaty during a briefing.
“Azerbaijan is presenting a precondition, which is not an acceptable, legitimate precondition for Armenia. I cannot say that it is in a deadlock situation,” said Sargis Khandanyan, adding that a year ago, the agreement on the text was considered a deadlock, but it was initialed.
“At the moment, I cannot say whether there is a clear date for negotiations on the signing of the peace treaty. The text is ready, there will be no more negotiations on the text,” he emphasized.
