“There have been flights between Armenia and Turkey, and there are agreements to increase the number of flights. They will be carried out not only to Yerevan but also to Gyumri and, accordingly, to Istanbul and Ankara,” Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated at a conference organized by the Orbeli Center.
According to him, the problem with Turkey is the closed borders and the lack of diplomatic relations; however, there is now an intensive and substantive political dialogue. “That process has been very public,” he noted.
