Nothing in the world can disrupt our friendship with Iran. Mirzoyan

Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan touched upon relations with Iran.

"Relations with Iran, a neighbor and friend for millennia, are important to us. Nothing in the world can disrupt our friendship and partnership."

According to the minister, it is impossible for any government of the Republic of Armenia not to continue relations with Iran in an atmosphere of brotherhood and neighborliness. "In parallel with this, there are international sanctions and penalties that we have not circumvented and will not circumvent. We never deceive those countries that have sanctions against Iran," he noted and emphasized that, however, these sanctions limit trade between Armenia and Iran.

"Despite this, we have vibrant economic relations and will continue to do so," he said, and expressed hope that these restrictions will be removed, and Armenia and Iran will be able to use the relations to their full potential.
