Armenia-Turkey relations are on the right track, stated the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.
"In my assessment, the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations, the establishment of diplomatic relations, and the opening of the border are a matter of time.
The issue here is to take the path of speed, and we must note that this path is influenced not only by the political will existing in both countries, but also by certain gravitational factors," he said.
According to the Prime Minister, he has been meeting with the Turkish President frequently in recent months. During his last visit, he invited Erdogan to the summit of the European Political Community, to be held in Armenia in May 2026.
"It would not be right for me to comment on the possibility of the Turkish President's visit. I can say that I have officially invited him, and I hope that this invitation will be accepted," he noted.
