On October 29, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia, Alexandra Pamela Cole.
Congratulating the Ambassador on assuming the position, Alen Simonyan expressed hope that the newly appointed Ambassador will contribute to the development and deepening of multifaceted relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom.
The interlocutors discussed bilateral relations, the development of inter-parliamentary ties, regional developments, and the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
