According to Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, the Washington agreements will lead to a major deblockade.
“Armenia has been under a blockade for 30+ years, and now the two countries agree to lift the blockade, if necessary, to build new infrastructures, transport infrastructures between each other,” he said. According to him, sometimes they narrow the topic, leading to the Azerbaijan-Nakhichevan connection, but the significant deblockade efforts, under the agreed principles, also include the Azerbaijan-Nakhichevan connection. “In addition, the infrastructure through which the connection will be implemented will be similarly exploited and used by Armenia,” he said.
