Mutual benefit will ensure the further progress of the agreements. Mirzoyan

Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke about the Armenian-Azerbaijani agreements. He recalled that, usually, in such cases, the signature or verbal promise of a third country was considered a guarantee of the observance of the agreements. However, he also noted that it did not always work.

“Answering the question of what is the guarantee that the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be preserved and the agreements will begin to operate, the following is true: I consider all agreements to be mutually beneficial. This mutual benefit will ensure further progress, implementation, and durability of the agreements. This is an extremely key thing,” he said. Mirzoyan noted that he did not want to focus on what Armenia gained. “If both countries consider the agreements reached to be beneficial and advantageous for them, both will be interested in preserving them and developing them.”
