We are ready to ensure the transit of trucks from Turkey to Azerbaijan. Prime Minister

We are not only politically but also technically ready to ensure the transit of trucks from Turkey to Azerbaijan and vice versa through Armenia from today, without exaggeration. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this in Georgia.

“Both the roads and border infrastructures through the territory of Armenia are ready for this,” the Prime Minister said.

According to the Prime Minister, we are talking about the Margara-Yeghegnadzor-Goris-Sisian route.

“Politically, we are ready to ensure the transit from Nakhichevan to the main part of Azerbaijan and vice versa through the territory of Armenia in the same way, but technically, we are not yet ready due to the infrastructure. Politically, we are also ready to ensure the railway passage between Turkey and Nakhichevan, as well as between Turkey and the main part of Azerbaijan. Still, the railway in these sections needs repair or reconstruction,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that these technical issues will be resolved within 2-3 years.
