On October 20, within the framework of his working visit to Luxembourg, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihail Popșoi. The interlocutors touched upon the opportunities for expanding bilateral partnership through mutual visits and activation of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Mihail Popșoi exchanged views on European integration issues, emphasizing the readiness to exchange best practices in the effective implementation of the existing toolkit.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Moldova exchanged views on the challenges facing democratic development and mechanisms for overcoming them. Mihail Popșoi presented the experience of elections in Moldova, including the fight against hybrid threats and disinformation, and the strengthening of institutional capacities for this purpose.
