The US Embassy in Armenia reports that on October 16, Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan met with US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff at the Holocaust Museum in Yerevan, as part of the Middle East Peace Summit, as well as an event dedicated to the second anniversary of the October 7 massacre.
The interlocutors discussed the progress of the August 8th agreements and regional processes.
Steve Witkoff reaffirmed the United States’ consistent support for the peace agenda.
Ambassador Mkrtchyan expressed his gratitude to Steve Witkoff for his efforts to establish peace and stability in the region.
