"Yesterday, there were contacts not only with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, but also with officials from different countries. We had the opportunity to exchange views with the Azerbaijani Minister on the settlement process, not very deeply," Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated.
According to the Minister, the meeting focused on humanitarian issues. He recalled that Armenia and Azerbaijan are unblocking their transport infrastructure. "The section of the railway that will pass through the south of Armenia will be called 'TRIPP', and the Armenian-American company will deal with all issues of the route," he noted.
Let us recall that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, at the invitation of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, and the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, participated in the Middle East Peace Summit in Sharm El Sheikh.
