The fact of effective dialogue on visa liberalization was emphasized

Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan met with European Union Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos in Brussels.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the new Armenia-EU partnership agenda and the implementation of ambitious strategic actions defined therein.

The parties discussed the upcoming tasks and prospects for deepening cooperation, emphasizing that, in recent years, Armenia-EU relations have acquired a new quality and depth.

Prime Minister Pashinyan highly appreciated the EU's consistent support for the effective implementation of institutional reforms in our country and emphasized the Armenian Government's interest in introducing EU standards across all sectors.

In turn, Marta Kos stressed the EU's readiness to continue advancing steps to deepen and expand ties with Armenia across various areas.

The parties noted with satisfaction the effective dialogue on visa liberalization and the significant progress made in that direction.

Thoughts were also exchanged on the opportunities created in the region as a result of the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the implementation of the TRIPP project, and the "Crossroads of Peace" in our country.
