Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has published a video titled “Let me say something for a moment-4,” reflecting on the difference between the Third and Fourth Republics.
“The Third Republic was based on the logic of conflict, while the Fourth Republic is based on the logic of peace.
In the Third Republic, the adoption of the Constitution by the free expression of the people’s will and vote is highly questionable, while in the Fourth Republic, there should be no such doubt at all.
In the Third Republic, the ownership of power by the people is relative and formal, while in the Fourth Republic, it should be unmistakable and unquestionable.
And, ultimately, the Third Republic is about dreaming about the homeland, searching for the homeland, searching for the homeland of dreams, the Fourth Republic is about the homeland that the Republic of Armenia is the homeland of our dreams, and there is no need to search for a homeland,” he said.
