The process of Armenia-EU cooperation was discussed

On October 2, within the framework of the 7th Summit of the European Political Community held in Copenhagen, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, met.

During the meeting, the process of Armenia-European Union cooperation and the prospects for its expansion were discussed. The parties attached importance to the implementation of joint initiatives in the areas of strengthening democracy, the rule of law, regional stability, and economic development.

Prime Minister Pashinyan highly appreciated the European Parliament’s continued attention and support for Armenia, emphasizing the deepening of cooperation with the EU and the partnership agenda.

In turn, Roberta Metsola reaffirmed the European Parliament’s readiness to continue supporting Armenia in its democratic reforms, institutional development, and efforts to strengthen the peace agenda.

The parties also exchanged views on regional developments, the implementation of the agreements reached at the Washington Peace Summit, and the “TRIPP” project.
