In Copenhagen, within the framework of the 7th Summit of the European Political Community, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, met with the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan, President Costa, and President von der Leyen discussed the Armenia-European Union partnership agenda, the process of democratic reforms in Armenia, and the prospects for economic cooperation and development.
The parties also discussed regional developments, the outcomes of the Washington Peace Summit, and the implementation of the TRIPP project. In this context, the importance of the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative was emphasized as an essential pillar of regional cooperation and sustainable development.
The Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission reaffirmed the EU’s continued support for Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its commitment to the agenda of democratic and economic reforms. Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the support and highlighted the importance of deepening the partnership with the EU.
