Alen Simonyan received the Executive Director of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation
On September 30, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alain Simonyan, received a delegation led by Sabine Fandrych, Executive Director and Secretary General of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
Having positively assessed the Foundation’s activities in Armenia, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia thanked Sabine Fandrych for the various programs implemented in the country, which have significantly contributed to the establishment of democratic institutions and the enhancement of human rights protection.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, the Executive Director of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation spoke about the effectiveness of the Foundation’s activities in Armenia, adding that their programs will be ongoing in nature.
In addition to the topics mentioned above, the issues related to regional security and democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia were also at the core of the interlocutors’ discussions.
