No one has the right to put a name on the sovereign territory of Armenia. Prime Minister (VIDEO)

"You use the expression "Zangezur Corridor", but where did you get it from? There is no such expression; there has not been, and there will not be, in any document agreed upon between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I was also forced to address this issue from the podium of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly," Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated, answering a question from a deputy in the PACE.

The Prime Minister emphasized that one should use vocabulary that is agreed upon or has been used in the Washington agreement, specifically the term "TRIPP route".

According to him, he himself does not use such an expression in his speech, the etymology of which is not in the documents adopted in Washington. "Will those who use the phrase 'Zangezur Corridor' clarify what they mean and show it on the map?" he said, adding that if it turns out that by saying this they mean any territory of Armenia, then no one has the right to put a name on the sovereign territory of Armenia that Armenia does not recognize.

The Prime Minister emphasized that this is a gross violation. "I strongly condemn your use of illegitimate vocabulary in this hall."
