In Warsaw, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys. The interlocutors discussed new opportunities for deepening the partnership between Armenia and Lithuania, in line with the dynamics of bilateral political dialogue and friendship built on shared values.
Mirzoyan thanked Lithuania for its support of Armenia’s democratic agenda, its strengthening of resilience, and for deepening cooperation with the EU. The sides discussed upcoming contacts on the EU platform and existing mechanisms for promoting cooperation in sectoral areas.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Kęstutis Budrys exchanged views on regional developments. The Lithuanian minister welcomed the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, including the initialing of the peace agreement.
The RA Foreign Minister emphasized the opportunities provided by increasing regional connectivity through the opening of communications under agreed fundamental principles.
