Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador of the Czech Republic

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Armenia Petr Pirunčík on the occasion of the Czech Republic’s national holiday, Statehood Day.

President Khachaturyan, welcoming the Ambassador, congratulated the Czech people and authorities on the occasion of the national holiday and wished them prosperity, development, and peace, expressing confidence that relations based on mutual respect and trust will continue to expand and develop.

Ambassador Petr Pirunčík thanked for the reception and warm wishes. He reaffirmed the Czech Republic’s readiness to continue deepening bilateral cooperation with Armenia and developing collaboration in regional and multilateral formats.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current level and development prospects of relations between the two countries. The parties highlighted the importance of cooperation in areas of mutual interest. It was noted that active contacts and collaboration between the two countries at various levels contribute to the deepening of relations and the implementation of new programs.

The sides also discussed cooperation between Armenia and the Czech Republic within the European Union. The parties emphasized the importance of implementing mutually beneficial initiatives that will contribute not only to strengthening bilateral relations but also to the development of cooperation between Armenia and the EU.
