“Closed borders are a risk for our country, because Turkey and Azerbaijan have closed their borders with Armenia to neutralize Armenia economically and to be able to solve their own problems easily,” said Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan at a session of the NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration.
He assured that he would not allow the situation to continue in the same way and “ultimately destroy” the state. According to Papoyan, he will use all the tools at his disposal to ensure that the Armenian-Turkish border is opened and Armenia develops, because what has been done with that policy has led to this situation.
