Discussed issues of cooperation within the framework of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons
On September 18, in The Hague, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Fernando Arias, Secretary General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
The interlocutors discussed issues of cooperation within the framework of the OPCW. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that Armenia attaches importance to its active involvement in the organization’s activities through the implementation of the OPCW mandate, and for this purpose, through practical international cooperation and the utilization of existing experience.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Fernando Arias exchanged views on the steps being taken to address ongoing and new challenges in the dynamically developing conditions of international relations.
Issues related to the use of artificial intelligence were also touched upon.
