Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mehdi Sobhani, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.
The Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador for close cooperation and noted that in recent years, cooperation between Armenia and Iran in all spheres has risen to a new level. The Head of State emphasized Mehdi Sobhani’s personal contribution to this matter. At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan attached importance to the official visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Armenia last month, which gave a new impetus to the consistent development and expansion of bilateral relations.
Mehdi Sobhani also thanked the Prime Minister and the Government of Armenia for the active and productive dialogue, emphasizing that during his tenure, he had invested all his efforts in strengthening bilateral ties. The Ambassador expressed gratitude for being awarded the Order of Friendship and noted that he will do everything in the future to deepen and enhance Armenian-Iranian relations.
The Prime Minister wished Ambassador Sobhani success in his future activities.
