On September 17, in The Hague, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the President of the International Criminal Court, Tomoko Akane, and the Secretary General, Osvaldo Zavala Giler.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the issues of cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the ICC, involvement in international efforts aimed at upholding the norms of international law, and ensuring the rule of law.
The meeting touched upon the work being carried out to improve national legislation in accordance with the provisions of the Rome Statute, as well as the existing opportunities for capacity development.
Ararat Mirzoyan made a note in the Court’s book of honored guests.
