Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Mehdi Sobhani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, who is completing his mission in our country.
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan personally thanked the Ambassador on behalf of himself and the Government for the work done during his tenure and his significant contribution to the development of Armenia-Iran interstate relations.
The Ambassador, thanking the Deputy Prime Minister for the constructive cooperation established, noted that Iran continues to support Armenia's efforts to establish lasting stability and peace in the region.
The interlocutors discussed the achievements of the past two years in expanding bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Iran in key areas, exchanged views on upcoming activities, and possible new joint programs.
Mher Grigoryan wished the Ambassador new successes in his future activities, noting that he will always remain a friend of Armenia.
