The Prime Minister commented on why he recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that he recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in order to reaffirm Armenia's own territorial integrity.
"We are consistently implementing a security strategy based on legitimacy. It is this strategy that has made peace possible," he said.
According to the Prime Minister, the security legitimacy strategy was further strengthened with the initialing of the peace agreement on August 8, 2025, and the signing of the Washington Declaration of Peace.
