Alen Simonyan and the Iranian Ambassador discussed the latest regional developments
On September 12, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani, who is completing his mission in Armenia. The NA reported this.
Alen Simonyan thanked the Ambassador for his efforts to strengthen Armenian-Iranian relations and increase the effectiveness of cooperation during his tenure and wished him success in his future work. Ambassador Sobhani, in turn, thanked Alen Simonyan for the successful joint work cooperation.
The interlocutors also discussed the key topics of the agenda of Armenian-Iranian relations, touching upon various issues related to interparliamentary cooperation and regional developments.
