On September 12, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan, who is on a working visit to Berlin, met with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Geza Andreas von Geyr.
During the meeting, the Secretary of the Security Council presented the results of the agreements signed in Washington and the economic opportunities to be created. The Secretary of State, in turn, highly appreciated the efforts of the Armenian government aimed at ensuring stable and lasting peace in the region.
The interlocutors discussed the agenda for developing Armenia-Germany bilateral relations. In particular, they touched upon the new opportunities for economic cooperation created as a result of the lifting of the blockade and the willingness to cooperate in that direction. Cooperation in the energy sector and other agenda issues were also discussed.
