The RA Constitution does not contain this issue. Galyan on Aliyev's statements

RA Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan touched upon the constitutional amendments. She noted that the preambles of the constitutions of Armenia and many other countries are similar.

"We do not see a problem in the constitution, and we say that what is being voiced by Azerbaijan is not a problem, and the Constitutional Court gave its confirmation, the only body that can give such a confirmation."

She assured that the constitution does not contain such a problem.

Galyan also requested that the process of constitutional amendments not be linked to Azerbaijan's demand. "That is not the reality."

Referring to the question that for Azerbaijan, amending the constitution is a prerequisite for signing the peace agreement, she said: "In any case, the peace agreement has been initialed, and as it was emphasized, peace has been established. And changing the constitution is our internal affair, and not the affair of any other person, supranational body or state."

Galyan also noted that the set of new materials on constitutional amendments has already been sent to the members of the council.

When asked whether the Declaration of Independence was mentioned, Galyan replied: "I don't think it will be included in the materials sent this time and in the upcoming materials, but as soon as it is included and discussed, first of all, public information will be provided. That issue has not been discussed yet, and as soon as it is discussed, the public and the journalistic community will be informed."
