“As for the opening of the border without Turkey, I hope and am sure that at some point the Armenia-Turkey border will also be opened,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a briefing.
Referring to the possibility of Armenian citizens to travel, he mentioned the principle of reciprocity.
“Yes, in peacetime, people can go anywhere as tourists, and I have also touched on this agenda in my address,” he said, adding that the bilateral implementation of the agenda for the return of citizens who have become refugees from Armenia and Azerbaijan since the early 1990s poses serious risks to the peace agenda. According to him, the discussion of this agenda mainly becomes a subject of political speculation.
