On August 20, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke with José Manuel Álvarez, Minister of Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain.
The interlocutors discussed the work to develop the partnership between Armenia and Spain through bilateral high-level visits and active interaction on the EU platform.
Turning to regional issues, Minister Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for Spain's important message regarding the agreements reached in Washington to normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Underlining Armenia’s determination to achieve sustainable peace in the South Caucasus, Ararat Mirzoyan presented the opportunities that will be provided by unblocking regional communications.
