The Central Committee of the Ramkavar Liberal Party welcomes the historic initialing of the peace agreement.
The statement said:

“THE PROBLEM OF THE ETERNALITY OF THE HOMELAND

It is our supreme aspiration as a nation that our sisters and brothers living in the homeland can always have a completely secure, peaceful, prosperous, dignified, and energetic life endowed with the freedom of sovereign democracy, like the citizens of all progressive countries.

One of the essential prerequisites for this noble goal is undoubtedly that our country is always free from any military threat.

In this regard, the tripartite declaration signed in the US White House on August 8 was undoubtedly an event of special significance in the modern history of our people.

After studying the relevant documents available to us, the Central Committee of the Ramkavar Liberal Party welcomes this historic initialing of the peace agreement, which, in the current political conditions, is one of the best possible options.

The strategy of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, to ensure the direct mediation and participation of US President Donald Trump in this significant process is especially commendable.

We are hopeful that this memorandum of understanding, which is intended to become a first step towards peace, prosperity and stability in our region, will succeed in ensuring vitally needed security and a significant improvement in the economic situation for our people, as well as will lead to the release of all Armenian prisoners illegally held in Baku and, in particular, the return of our dear people of Artsakh to their homeland. Until then, to the provision of prompt and fair compensation.”
