The agreement contains tangible benefits for both Iran and Russia: Prime Minister (VIDEO)

Nikol Pashinyan spoke on Fox News about the documents signed in Washington and the "Trump route."

"I think that this agreement and the declaration contain quite tangible benefits for both Iran and Russia. For instance, if and when this agreement is implemented, Iran will gain rail access from the Persian Gulf to the Black Sea. Russia and Iran will also be able to establish a rail connection between the two countries.

If we focus on the economic aspects of this agreement, Armenia, Azerbaijan, the US, Turkey, Russia, and Iran will all receive significant, tangible, and unprecedented benefits. Because now no railway from the South Caucasus would connect Iran and Russia," the Prime Minister said.

Nikol Pashinyan stated that the goal of the Republic of Armenia is stability, peace, sustainable development, and economic and political cooperation. "Therefore, I consider this a significant agreement, which can bring substantial benefits to all countries, as well as, by the way, the entire international community, for ensuring global stability and security.

I have already mentioned that we have a project called "Crossroads of Peace", and indeed, this agreement can become a kind of crossroads of cooperation and peace, and that is precisely our goal. We do not want to provoke disputes or cause tension. Our goal is to achieve stability, peace, sustainable development, and foster economic and political cooperation. And I think that based on yesterday's declaration, this is an essential and convenient platform for these goals," he added.
