Pashinyan thanked Kobakhidze for publicly welcoming the agreements reached in Washington.

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze.

The Armenian government reported this.

Nikol Pashinyan presented to his counterpart the results of the negotiations held in the US capital Washington on August 8, 2019, in particular, the initialing of the “Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan”, the joint application to the OSCE on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms, the unblocking of regional communications within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of countries and based on reciprocity, as well as the “Trump Path for International Peace and Prosperity” project.

Nikol Pashinyan thanked Irakli Kobakhidze for publicly welcoming the agreements reached in Washington.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on the agenda of bilateral and regional relations.

They mutually agreed that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan opens up new opportunities for the entire South Caucasus region.
