RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot.
Minister Mirzoyan elaborated on the August 8 agreements, among others, highlighting the initialing of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a key milestone in the process at this point.
The RA Foreign Minister noted that today, the joint application of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk process and related structures and the proposed draft decision were circulated to the OSCE participating states.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Jean-Noël Barrot exchanged views on the unprecedented opportunities for increased connectivity for the countries of the region and partners beyond as a result of the implementation of the agreement to unblock regional communications.
Ararat Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for France’s congratulations and continued support in the process.
