Within the framework of his working visit to Brussels, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan met with Rafael Fito, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Cohesion and Reforms.
At the beginning of the meeting, the importance of the Armenia-EU political dialogue, which has entered a new, more intensive phase, was emphasized with mutual satisfaction.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of Armenia’s involvement in regional initiatives, particularly in discussions about the EU’s new strategic approach to the Black Sea region.
Mher Grigoryan discussed the Armenian government’s “Crossroads of Peace” initiative, highlighting its role in promoting lasting peace and stability in the region. The initiative’s connection with the EU Global Gateway strategy was emphasized.
Mher Grigoryan and Rafael Fito also exchanged views on the opportunities for developing Armenia-EU trade and economic relations.
